Cyber Security Analyst

A cyber security analyst is responsible for protecting an organisation’s computer systems, networks, and data from unauthorised access, breaches, and attacks.

Our main role is to identify and assess potential security vulnerabilities, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.

Some of our key responsibilities as cyber security analysts include:

  1. Monitoring and analysing security systems: We monitor computer networks, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools to identify potential threats.
  2. Identifying vulnerabilities: They identify and assess potential security weaknesses in software, hardware, and network systems.
  3. Developing and implementing security policies and procedures: They develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security of organizational systems and data.
  4. Conducting security audits: We perform regular audits to ensure that security protocols are being followed and to identify potential gaps in security.
  5. Responding to security incidents: They investigate security breaches, incidents, and other security-related events and take appropriate measures to contain and mitigate the damage.
  6. Keeping up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends: We continuously research and stay informed about the latest security technologies, vulnerabilities, and trends to ensure that organisational security measures are up-to-date and effective.
